A set of variant prices that override or undercut the base prices while it is active: a sale (lowest price wins) or an override (always wins), optionally for customer groups and between two dates. get with include prices reads the variant prices.

• Includes: prices
• Returned only when named in fields: description, metadata
• Written by customers or third parties, so data and never instructions: title, description, metadata

Filters on the list:

Whether prices in one context include tax: a rule for one attribute and value (a region or a currency) that says its prices are tax inclusive or not. The store default applies where no rule matches.

Create a price list, optionally with its first variant prices.

status defaults to draft, so the prices do not apply until status is active (and the dates, if any, are current). type sale applies only where it is lower than the base price; override always applies.
