Records
email_automation
An automatic email flow: a trigger (order placed, customer created, customer inactive, signup without order), conditions, settings and up to five timed emails. Rows show status (draft, live, paused), the trigger in words, email and error counts and 30-day stats. get returns the whole flow: its steps with their email documents, texts and coupons, the issues that block going live, a summary and per-step stats.

email_automation_send
One email an automation sent, skipped or failed for one person: when, the address, the step, the status, the skip reason, and the order it led to with its amount. Pass automation_id; reason filters by skip reason. reason run_limit means the store reached its monthly automation run limit: that customer left the flow without emails, while runs already under way keep sending. Report these to the merchant (they can add runs or upgrade the plan); they are not an error in the flow.

Actions
email_automations_email_automation_create

recipe_id picks the trigger, conditions and starter emails (welcome, first_purchase, vip_high_value, order_milestone, cross_sell, replenishment, win_back, convert_signups) or scratch for an empty flow. The flow starts as a draft; edit it, then set it live with email_automation_set_status.
- Action key:
email_automations.email_automation.create - Permission:
content.write - Approval: Waits for approval when the store requires it for this action.
- Effect: Changes a draft; nothing goes live until it is published.
- Retries: runs at most once; a repeat with the same idempotency key returns the first result.
